Biography


Scarlett Noel Pomers was born on November 28, 1988 in Riverside, CA. When she was three years old, an agent at a local mall suggested to her mother, Michelle, that she get into the acting business. Scarlett began doing small jobs until they found an agent they both liked. Since then, she has been a guest star on several popular television shows, appeared in several feature films and is now starring on the critically acclaimed WB comedy, REBA, starring Reba McEntire.

Scarlett made her acting debut at the age of three in Michael Jackson's music video, Heal the World. Scarlett then began doing commercials and has filmed over three dozen to date. She has also starred in a number of television shows, including Judging Amy, That's Life, and Touched By An Angel. Scarlett was five years old when she made her debut on the silver screen in The Baby-Sitters Club. Scarlett has also starred in Slappy and the Stinkers and Happy, Texas and has been featured in the Julia Roberts film Erin Brockovich and the made-for-TV move Geppetto, starring Drew Carey and Brent Spiner. Scarlett also starred in the Disney Original Movie A Ring of Endless Light with Mischa Barton (now starring in FOX's The OC).

Scarlett's first major role was her award-winning recurring role as Naomi Wildman on the hit UPN sci-fi show, Star Trek: Voyager. Scarlett appeared in a total of seventeen episodes of the show over three years and won her a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Drama Series: Supporting Young Actress for this role.

Scarlett is currently starring in the WB's highest rated comedy Reba. Scarlett plays Kyra Hart, the youngest daughter of Reba and Brock Hart (Reba McEntire and Christopher Rich).

Besides acting, Scarlett has also developed a strong passion for singing. She has started a band simply named SCARLETT and is currently working on a CD. SCARLETT has been playing various venues and it quickly conquering the LA music scene. The band has played at venues such as “The Knitting Factory”, “The House of Blues”, “Club One-Seven” in the world-famous "Hollywood & Highland" complex, "ROXY, and the world-famous "Whisky A Go-Go".

Scarlett's fans currently gather at a yahoo.com group made in Scarlett's honor. The Scarlett Pomers Club has over 500 members, including Scarlett and her management.

Some of Scarlett's hobbies include writing, drawing, horseback riding, surfing, yoga, skiing and hanging out with her big brother, Shane. Scarlett also studies Egyptian belly-dance, East Indian tribal dance and Kendo (Japanese sword-fighting).

Scarlett currently lives in Los Angeles with her family and two dogs, Elvis and Arwen and horse, Loki.
